This time, the Duke is casting the spotlight on an entire vineyard - Stagecoach Vineyard - owned by Dr. Jan Krupp and his brother Bart. Located in the mountains of eastern Napa Valley overlooking Oakville, the rocky soils are ideal for growing grapes that produce world-class wines. Most of the grapes produced go into the wines of some of the biggest names in Napa, much of them into reserve programs. The rest are kept and made into small batches of very high-end wines under the Krupp Brother's watchful eyes.

Black Bart 2005 Syrah - Robert Parker rated this fabulous effort 94 out of 100 points and noted: Readers looking for a California red that is a dead-ringer for a French Cote Rotie should check out Black Bart's 2005 Syrah Stagecoach Vineyard. It boasts a dense ruby/purple color as well as an unmistakable nose of graphite, bacon fat, cassis, cherries, licorice, pepper, and tapenade. Black Bart's Bride 2006 - This is a succulent, aromatic blend of Marsanne, Viognier and Chardonnay. Parker enthusiastically awarded it 92 points and opined: "The 2006 Bride Proprietary White Wine is enticing. Abundant aromas of lychee nuts, rose petals, honeysuckle, and orange marmalade are offered in the complex aromatics.
