The Old Prospector is back with several new nuggets, an RP 100 that is truly rare and some other gems to tempt your palate. OP is anxious to point out a few of these beauties:
Vineyard 29 - The vineyards were planted under the watchful eye of lauded vineyard manager David Abreu (who also grows and makes some of the most sought-after wines from Napa Valley.) The 1993 vintage in our offering was made by Gary Galleron and the 1995-96 vintages were the work of Heidi Barrett. All three wines were made at Grace Family Winery.
Chateau Petrus - Nothing more to be added. Robert Parker gave both the 1989 and 1990 vintages 100 points only because that is as high as the range goes.
Beringer - Beringer is the oldest, continously operated winery in Napa Valley, yet Ed Sbragia is only the 6th winemaker in their entire history. Their Private Reserve bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon consistently garners high scores and raves from the critics and a clamor for more from those that purchase the wine.
Robert Mondavi - Robert Mondavi is an icon in the development of premium wines from Napa Valley. Their reserve bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon earns high scores and accolades from all sides.
Opus One - Mondavi and Rothschild is a potent combination producing a wine that is known throughout this world and several other planets in this and nearby solar systems.

Please don't think that we diminish the other names on our list by their omission from this discussion. Every wine listed is of the highest quality and can stand on its own.
