This past Monday, Robert Parker chose 2005 Bodegas Zabrin Garnacha de Fuego as his Wine of the Day. Usually, when a wine receives such recognition from Parker, it is sold out. Since we here at the Duke are always on the alert for wines with high quality-to-price ratio (QPR), we were fortunate to have tasted the wine earlier and had already purchased a goodly supply before the news broke! We feel that Jorge Ordonez is one of the most, if not the most, reliable importers of Spanish wines to America. 2005 Bodegas Zabrin Garnacha de Fuego is the perfect example of a wine with outstanding QPR.
