The Wine Association will present a seminar featuring wines from California with special guests Doug Margerum of Margerum Wine Company, Chuck Carlson of Curtis Winery and his personal label Carlson Winery, and Bob Long of Long Vineyards. You shouldn't be surprised if the Duke finds another special guest or two. This event will be too much fun to miss! Thursday, June 1, 2006
Valley Cultural Center will be presenting their annual Food, Wine and Micro-Brew Festival at the Promenade in Woodland Hills . VCC supports the arts, arts appreciation and education in the San Fernando Valley. Jon Sievers, senior member of the Duke's staff, is our representative on this year's planning and organizing committee. Plan to come by, sip a bit, have a bite and support this worthy organization. As the date for the event nears, we will give you more information and you will be able to obtain tickets at a reduced rate by calling the Duke. Sunday, June 25, 2006
Symphony of Wine VI benefitting the New West Symphony children's programs will present their annual dinner and auction. This year, they will honor another good friend of the Duke, Dan Duckhorn, as their Maestro of Food and Wine. We will keep you posted as we get closer to the event.
