The Duke is thrilled to offer a pre-sell on Jayson Woodbridge's latest gem. We've been anticipating it with great excitement and are happy to be able to make the announcement at last.
The wine, produced in Australia's Barossa Valley, is the Hundred Acre 2004 Shiraz
from Jayson's Ancient Way Vineyard. The soon-to-be-very-famous vineyard is adjacent to Greenock Creek Winery and Vineyards, whose wines consistently earn monster scores from Robert Parker. We hear the wine is "fantastic." Knowing Jayson's uncompromising attitude on excellence, we suspect that "fantastic" may qualify as the understatement for this or the coming year! Jayson assures us that this wine will be the Hundred Acre of Shiraz.
The package will be identical to Hundred Acre's Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - same elegant bottle, same closure, same hand-made wooden boxes, etc.
The wine is scheduled for release in September of 2006. The Duke is pleased to offer this Southern Hemisphere gem to you for $240.00 per bottle
