Since that email, Robert Parker had a chance to taste and review the wine and we thought you might be interested in his thoughts as we remind you of that offering. "The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate looks to be another great success at Montelena. No shy wine with 14.3% alcohol, it exhibits a dense purple color along with a big, sweet perfume of creme de cassis intermixed with smoke, earth, and forest floor scents. Noble purity, an opulent attack and mid-palate, and a long, tannic, rich, full-bodied finish suggest it should be consumed between 2010-2020+. This intriguing complexity will offer both excellent structure for aging and the silkiness to be enjoyed while young."
