Duckhorn Vineyards, the winery that put Napa Valley Merlot on the map, is now dedicated to doing the same with Anderson Valley Pinot Noir by offering wine lovers Goldeneye and Migration. The winery in Anderson Valley that produces those delicious examples of Pinot Noir is operating separately from the Napa Valley facility. Duckhorn also developed the concept of blending the indigenous California Zinfandel with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. They call it Paraduxx; we call it a Super-Napan. The Paraduxx winery, located on the Silverado Trail in Napa Valley, is in the final stages of completion and is scheduled to open to the public later this year. And if that isn't enough to impress us, the Cabernet Sauvignons that Duckhorn produces have very quietly achieved par status with the finest Cabernets that Napa Valley has to offer.

We here at the Duke are proud of our long association with Duckhorn Vineyards.
