Both the New Year and the new vintage of Paraduxx are here! HOOORAY! Two reasons to cheer.

As many of you know, Paraduxx is a proprietary blend of Zinfandel, California's resident grape, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This highly touted and unique wine offers a tantalizing flavor profile that is rich in fruit character with soft, integrated tannins. It is an ideal pairing for a wide variety of dishes, including Mediterranean-style fare, hearty pasta dishes and grilled meats.

We had the opportunity to taste this incredible wine at our Super Seminar XXXII and we were stunned. We taste a lot of great wine here at the Duke (a difficult trick and one you can try at home), but this one really stands out as a superb wine - not to mention that it is from one of the best California vintages in history. You will be as impressed as we were when you open your first bottle and take that first sip.

The label is also really special. Each vintage Paraduxx displays one of an artist-labeled series with the artist's signature medium and style interpreted through a 'pair of ducks' native to the Pacific Flyway. The 2001 vintage label features a pair of Green-Winged Teal nesting in a foggy marsh. The original artwork for the label is an acrylic painting by noted artist D.J. Cleland-Hura and is on display at the winery.

The Duke has quacked up (again) and has this wonderful wine for you at $43.00 per bottle or $255.00 per 6-pack. Sorry, but we must limit purchases to two 6-packs. We also have half-bottles available at $22.50 per bottle and magnums at $99.50 each.
