Jenny Williamson Doré, long-time friend of the Duke, stopped by not long ago to bring us news of an incredible event, The Fourth Annual World of Pinot Noir. The event takes place in Shell Beach, CA, March 5-6, 2004, and will feature over one hundred producers of Pinot Noir from around the world. The two-day experience includes seminars, tastings and a gala dinner prepared by famed chef Michel Richard. WOPN?s goal is to bring together the top Pinot Noir producers and those who enjoy the wines they create for two days of education, tastings and camaraderie in an intimate environment. Attendance will be limited to ensure a concentrated and intimate tone.
