According to the wine press (the media, not the machine for crushing grapes), the world is nearly awash in wine. The Duke has to wade through all that wine and find the unusual or unique wines that we want to offer to the greatest customers on earth. Here are a couple of offerings that we have for you.


Veuve Clicquot Vintage Reserve 1993 en Magnum

We have unburied this treasure from one of the world's premiere makers of fine champagne. It is a fine example of the Veuve Clicquot house style and will go with almost any food, including Oreos (try it; we're not kidding). A magnum of this great champagne is usually $125.00, but the Duke is selling it at a 30% discount, making your price $87.50. A 750ml bottle of the current release sells for $62.50, so you can see what a bargain this really is. The supply is very limited.


Ici/La Bas 2000 Pinot Noir, Oregon

Here is a wonderful wine in the Burgundian tradition made by the master himself, Jim Clendenen. He sourced his fruit for this effort from Oregon and has delivered just what you would expect from a Clendenen wine - it is rich, full-bodied and classy. Usually priced at $25.00, the Duke is selling this wine for $19.99 per bottle. Buy 6 or more and receive an additional 5% off for a total discount of 25%!


Domaine Carneros 2000 Pinot Noir

The Carneros region is well known as an area that produces outstanding Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Here is a succulent example of the best that Carneros can produce - full-bodied and elegant. The wine normally retails for $28.50, but the Duke is able to bring it to you at a remarkably low $19.99 per bottle.


Montinore 1999 Chardonnay

We have sold a truckload of this delicious wine from Oregon. So they sent us another truckload. Those of you fortunate enough to have tried this wine know just how tasty it is. In that case, you know what a bargain it is. The wine retails at the winery for $22.00. They need help liquidating their inventory (chuckle) and are letting the Duke sell it for $6.99 per bottle.
