We are truly pleased and excited to announce that long-time friend Bob Long of Long Vineyards will be visiting the store on Saturday, June 14, from 9:30 AM till Noon to help us celebrate Flag Day and maybe talk a little wine. As many of you know, Bob is a garrulous companion with a wry sense of humor. He truly enjoys chatting with others interested in wine. Please plan to stop by and salute. We have both a flag and Bob Long - you choose.

Renowned for creating elegant and distinctive wines in highly limited quantities, Long Vineyards produces three varieties from the estate - Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and late-harvest Johannisberg Riesling - and two Italian varietals, Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese, from specially selected single vineyards in Napa and Sonoma. By the time of his visit, Bob will have some news about two exciting projects currently in the works.

Now the better news. Buy any of the Long Vineyards wines in the shop that day and the Duke will snap to attention and salute you by giving you a special discount off your purchase of those Long Vineyards wines.
