Not a Cabernet drinker, then jump right into this Merlot! Stonewood Cellars is on the right track, producing fruit driven wines and their Merlot is no exception. This is a very pleasant drinking wine that you can have with meals or just by you and a loved one.

Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Los Vascos – List $12.00 - $9.99

A brilliant red ruby wine with deep and pleasant mature fruit, such as dark cherries, blackberries and plums. Notes of raspberry jam, candied fruit and white chocolate backed by spices of black pepper, nutmeg, bay leaves and cloves. Sweet and round tannins with good volume, structure and balance. A good classic.

Juan Gil, “Honoro Vera” 2010 Monastrell, Spain – List $11.00 - $8.99

Monastrell is known for wines of great richness and structure. If not managed properly, tannin can become an issue. However, the ultra-talented Juan Gil Bodega has released yet another superstar red wine. The Honoro Vera is 100% Monastrell and offers amazing depth, concentration, and complexity for this price. A structured, yet beautifully polished wine boasting flavors of game, wild plum, and violets. Rugged and polished all at the same time…simply delicious.

Atalaya Laya 2009 Garnacha Tintorera Y Monastrell Tinto Almansa - List $11.00 - $8.99

Almansa, where Atalaya was built a decade ago, has been considered to be hot for high quality wines, but a century ago Almansa produced high quality wines, albeit sweet ones. They used Alicante Bouschet, but today they call it Garnacha Tintorera and they mix it with 30% Monastrell to make this wickedly powerful wine.

Ancient Block 2009 Fusion White Wine - List $15.00 - $9.99

A perfect everyday white wine. Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Muscat and Marsanne have been fused together to create a wine with delightful aromas and flavors of apricot, peach, honeysuckle, melon and green apple. Great with ripe cheeses or pasta.

Cupcake 2010 Riesling- List $13.00 - $9.99

This is a very nice example of a dry Riesling. True, there's a touch of sweetness at the start, but that just enhances the overall experience. Consider this wine for any Asian cuisine or enjoy it alone as a sipping wine.

Husch 2010 Chenin Blanc - List $11.50 - $9.99

Aromas of white peach, melon and lime zest. On the palate, this off-dry wine is vibrant, revealing it's balanced combination of tropical fruits.

Urban 2010 Torrontes - List $12.00 - $9.99

Here's an aromatically intriguing wine from Argentina unlike any other white you've had. It is a lively wine with a crisp texture and luscious fruit. It has an initially slightly sweet, creamy taste, but finishes dry. Torrontes could become the sister to Malbec as a flagship varietal of Argentina.

Bricco Buon Natale 2007 Barbera - List $15.00 - $9.99

Produced by Jim Clendenen at Au Bon Climat, this wine is concentrated, moderately tannic and brightly acidic. It has good balance and structure with a long, vivid finish.

Cupcake 2010 Sauvignon Blanc - List $14.00 - 9.99

This New Zealand product boasts integrated flavors that delight the senses with layer upon layer of Meyer lemons, Key limes and a finish that awakens the appetite.

Four Vines 2008 Naked Chardonnay - List $15.00 - $9.99

Step away from the barrel! This Chardonnay was fermented in 100% stainless steel and has not seen any oak. This is crisp, concentrated Chardonnay with all its natural acid. Naked exhibits apple, white peach, and pear characteristics. It finishes long with hints of citrus and mineral. Eat oysters and drink "Naked" often!!

Four Vines 2007 Zinfandel, Old Vine Cuvée - List $15.00 - $9.99

Four Vines has such a great wealth of Zinfandel that they have the ability to put together a fantastic multi-appellation Zin Blend. On the nose, the wine has layers of berry fruit and anise aromas with hints of spice. On the palate, it offers blackberry and spicy plum fruit with a rich mouth feel trailing to a velvety toasted oak finish.

Lagaria 2010 Pinot Grigio - List $13.50 - $9.99

Apple and melon notes with hints of cantaloupe follow through to a medium body, with good acidity and a clean finish. A great value from Italy!
