It is our pleasure to invite you to join us on Thursday, March 21, 2002, for a most SPECIAL 2000 FUTURES SEMINAR featuring our incomparable group of friends and the outstanding wines they produce on California's Central Coast. We are extremely fortunate not only to have access to their wonderful wines, but to be able to present them to you to taste before making your purchases.

The talented winemakers joining us include JIM CLENDENEN of AU BON CLIMAT & ICI/LA-BAS, BOB LINDQUIST of QUPÉ and FRANK OSTINI & GRAY HARTLEY of HITCHING POST. JIM ADELMAN of MAKOR is scheduled to be bottling and will be unable to attend, but his excellent wine will be presented by Jim Clendenen and Bob Lindquist. Also joining us will be ARCHIE MCLAREN, Executive Director of the KCBX Central Coast Wine Classic. Archie will provide pertinent information about the popular Wine Classic scheduled for the second week in July.

The 2000 vintage wines from our presenting group are truly superb. It was an outstanding growing year, according to both Jim Clendenen and Bob Lindquist. It was warm during August and cool during October, giving the grapes excellent ripening conditions. Each year, we make our way to the Au Bon Climat/Qupé Winery to taste the wines. This year, we spent about four hours tasting the wines of the 2000 vintage and found them exhibiting loads of luscious fruit, great body, deep intensity and a most satisfying finish. Of course, each wine his its own unique characteristics, but this is the first time in many vintages that we have tasted so many excellent wines from so many different areas of the Central Coast. Here is your opportunity to judge for yourself as we showcase an outstanding selection to be offered on "future." Yes, all of the wines shown this evening will be available at special "futures" prices.

As additional taste treat, Frank Ostini will bring us some delicious grilled tidbits from his famous Hitching Post restaurant in Buellton.

The cost for this seminar is only $29.00 each for members and guests. We encourage you to invite guests to this special event and there is no additional fee for non-members! Full payment must accompany your reservation. No tickets are issued; you will be notified if your reservation cannot be accepted. Cancellation deadline for full refund is March 19.
